Again we are dealing with the poor engineers in the land of Logicia. For some sort of fancy circuitry, a 7-bit binary input is received. As a result it should give the amount of “1″s present in this vector. For example, for the inputs 1100110 and 1001110 the result should be the same and equal to 100 (4 in binary). This time however, the only components they have on their hands are Full Adders. Describe the circuit with minimum amount of parts.

Can I expect to see a ‘match terms and descriptions’ post soon?
Sure thing 🙂 Coming up! 🙂
A couple of other suggestions:
1. Could you explain concepts as a story. eg. Autobiography of an analog signal (covering the processes to convert it into a digital one), Silicon telling its story(taking the readers through the process of diffusion, epitaxy). A bit of animation along with the text would make it more interesting
2. There could be a sidebar with an electronic tip for the day or a simple E-fact or quote
Thanks for the suggestions Bharathi! Will definitely put that to use!
